Respiratory Nurse Specialist
Outpatients
Band 6 £37,831 to £46,100 (pro rata)
Plus £1,279 Distant Islands Allowance (pro rata)
29.70 Hours per Week

An exciting and innovative opportunity has arisen within the Respiratory service at Western Isles Hospital for a Band 6 Respiratory Liaison Nurse.
The post holder should possess knowledge of the management of patients with acute and chronic respiratory disease and will be required to demonstrate the ability to work autonomously, proactively and as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team. This will involve working across professional and organisational boundaries in partnership with other acute care nursing and medical staff, allied health professionals and senior management teams.
You will be based in Outpatients at Western Isles Hospital and provide outpatient Respiratory Nurse cover for the Western Isles Health Board area.
You should have 3 years post registration experience within a Respiratory or acute medicine and have the desire and commitment to improve and drive Respiratory care, service re-design and to support the implementation of digital innovation within healthcare.
A valid driving license and access to a vehicle is essential.
