Position:
An opportunity has arisen within the Respiratory Managed Clinical Network (MCN) as MCN Facilitator based at Ayrshire Central Hospital Irvine.
You may be required to travel to other NHS Ayrshire & Arran sites for this role.
Hours:
22.5 hours per week.
Working Days will be agreed after a successful interview.
What you will do:
You will lead on facilitation of respiratory training, education and development of information and resources for patients and health care professionals to enable improved understanding of the condition, and increased patient empowerment/self-management.
You will also arrange and facilitate Respiratory MCN meetings, record discussions, and follow up actions to maintain effective communication with MCN members and stakeholders.
In conjunction with Digital Services and MCN colleagues you will facilitate the development and integration of Technology Enabled Care (TEC) into Respiratory Services that will improve the delivery of respiratory care, enabling self-management and improve the patient experience.
You will also lead on social media apps for the MCN.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
You must be educated to degree level, or have equivalent level of qualification or experience for this post.
You should also have NHS experience in a promoted post and be able to demonstrate leadership and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to think strategically.
A proficiency in Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams, is essential.
