NHS Grampian Paediatric Physiotherapist Combined Child Health (CCH)
We are currently looking to recruit to our CCH Physiotherapy team to provide Maternity Leave cover. The post will be based at Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital and/or within one of our Child Development Teams depending on the successful candidate’s skills and experience and so it is essential that applicants have a full driving licence.
Some previous paediatric experience is essential, and applicants should have a keen interest in working with children and young people. You will be involved in the assessment and treatment of children of all ages with a wide variety of developmental conditions including neurological, neuromuscular, rheumatology, orthopaedic, post-surgical, complex needs and respiratory. There will be an expectation to participate in the respiratory on-call rota which involves occasional overnight and weekend work. Support will be given by a team of experienced staff through close team working, formal and informal supervision in the context of a multi-disciplinary approach.
