An opportunity has arisen for an Admin Support Assistant within the Community Hospital Admin team.
The successful applicant will require excellent IT, communication and organisational skills with a confident, courteous and friendly approach to patients and colleagues. Applicants should be enthusiastic, motivated, have the ability to work well as part of a team, able to provide cross cover to other departments as required and have previous experience in an administration role.
A high standard of verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is accuracy and attention to detail, and proven experience of MS office systems. Training will be provided but the successful applicant must have the ability to work on their own initiative. The successful post holder will predominantly provide cover at the Minor Injuries Unit / Treatment Room Reception. They may also be called upon to provide administrative support to other teams within the NHS, as the service is constantly evolving. As the post holder will be dealing with medical records, the ability to work with sensitive and confidential information is essential.

Hours of work for this post are 16 per week, as per rota requirements.
Successful candidate should be flexible, as may be required to cover in times of staff absence.
