There are 3 position available: x1 for 30 hours and x2 for 24 hours.

The shift pattern for these positions is 0800-1800 Mon – Sat, Flexible working. Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse to join our team.  You will be a skilled member of the Outpatient nursing team, providing the highest standard of patient care without direct supervision. You are required to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care and follow standards/protocols in order to give a quality service to patients. You should be a NMC Registered Nurse, working towards degree level, with a minimum of 2 years post registration experience. You should possess previous Surgical/Medical/ Gynaecology/Urology experience, however a competency based education programme will be available if required. You will also participate in nurse led services within the department.   The shift pattern of this post will be Monday – Friday 0800-1800 flexible working.  (You may be required to work weekends)   You should have NMC Registration as well as evidence of continued professional development.   You will be expected to contribute to the provision of an appropriate learning environment, complete appraisals of pre registration nurses and support the implementation of research and clinical audit.

As part of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde's pre employment checking for all appointed candidates, evidence of current NMC registration will be required prior to start date. You should therefore note candidates who are unable to provide confirmation of current NMC registration, in line with projected start date for this post, may not be shortlisted for interview. This post requires PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland Check.
