Practice Nurse - Part-time vacancy available from September 2024
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Part-time Practice Nurse to join our medical practice based at Park Road Health Centre.
We currently have 3 partners and 2 salaried GP’s serving a practice population of 6000 patients. We are looking to expand our established, supportive team with the addition of a full time enthusiastic and experienced practice nurse. This vacancy is to fill 3 or 4 days/week however hours are flexible to attract the right person.
We have an excellent, friendly and helpful administrative team that aim to promote patientcentred care. We also have an extensive support team including physiotherapists, mental health nurses, and pharmacists.
Applicants must be NMC registered and the successful candidate has experience in chronic disease management as well as having the ability to perform cervical screening, cover sexual health and contraception reviews, or would be willing to take training in these areas. Independent Nurse prescribing would also be desirable but not essential.
Rosyth has excellent transport links to both Edinburgh and Glasgow. We welcome informal visits to look around our practice and working environment.
The post is remunerated depending on qualifications and experience (NHS Pay Band 6).
