The Scottish Ambulance Service is on the frontline of the NHS despatching immediate medical assistance or clinical advice to over 5 million people across Scotland. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, to join our friendly Infection Prevention and Control Team (IPC). The post holder will work closely with the Head Infection Prevention and Control Nurse to assist with the management of this service on all matters relating to the prevention and control of infection by providing strategic direction and advice to the Scottish Ambulance Service.
The post holder will provide leadership, supervision and clinical advice to the IPC advisors and auditors within the team. They will have experience of working in a Senior Infection Prevention and Control role and has obtained/or working towards post graduate qualification in Infection Prevention and Control.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisations skills, someone who can prioritise, assess and decision make, someone who is proactive, innovative and enthusiastic.
