The shift pattern is Monday – Friday

This post is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to further develop their paediatric nursing and assessment skills in the Specialist Community Paediatric Nursing Team for Glasgow. Post holder will have the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team promoting integrated nursing approaches and be able to make appropriate clinical judgments independently. The post holder will promote the principles of self-care to patients, families and carers and empower them to access and use health resources in their community. The post holder will be responsible for assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of care plans, and providing nursing intervention as necessary in the community. The post holder will participate in multi-disciplinary assessment of children including those with additional support needs. The successful applicant will be responsible for working in the disability pathway, carrying out nursing disability reviews for children with a neuro-disability, working alongside and supporting the Band 6 Specialist Children’s Services Disability Nurse. The service delivers nursing and health care to children with complex care and neurodiverse needs in the Glasgow area. Experience of working with children is essential. Full driving license required.
