An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our friendly and forward thinking team. We are looking for a highly motivated individual, who is an excellent team player and strives to deliver the highest quality of evidence based care.
The successful candidate will join our team of 7 GPs, 2 Practice Nurses, a Healthcare Assistant and a highly experienced administrative team. We also have excellent support from our wider multi-disciplinary team.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience working in General Practice, have an Advanced Practitioner qualification and be an independent prescriber. The main roles will include the clinical assessment, advanced decision making, prescribing and management of acute illness and chronic disease management. As a highly experienced practitioner you will work autonomously but with the support of the GPs and wider team.
Heilendi Practice is a 3900 patient, semi-rural Practice located in The Balfour Hospital, in Kirkwall, Orkney. We are a GP training practice and also an undergraduate training practice with a strong emphasis on education and quality improvement.
