We are looking to recruit a new team lead occupational therapist within our North-West Angus community rehabilitation team based in Whitehills Forfar. You should be an experienced occupational therapist with the confidence to manage a complex and varied clinical community and in patient caseload, with the ability and experience of supporting and educating others. A key aspect of this role is also to provide clinical leadership within palliative care. We are looking for someone who has and being involved in quality improvement. If you are proactive, and have excellent collaborative and leadership skills, you could become a great asset to our service.


The Occupational Therapy Service in Angus offers comprehensive support, supervision and is committed to Continued Professional Development and actively uses Turas.


You should possess a BSc/Dip COT in Occupational Therapy, have previous post graduate experience, be registered with HCPC and must produce evidence of continuing personal development. A requirement of this post is a willingness to travel across the locality.

Hours of work are: 37 hours per week part time hours would be considered

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay.  This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.  This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours.  However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.  If you have any questions or concerns please contact the Recruiting Board.
