This post is for a part time (22.2 hours per week, 0.6wte) worked between Monday to Friday.  (Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.

This post is for a part time permanent Clinical Associate in Applied Psychology (CAAP) for the Inverclyde CAMHS team. It is a small friendly CAMHS team based in Greenock with a range of multidisciplinary staff. In terms of psychology there is a Consultant, a Principal Psychologist, a Child and Adolescent Therapist and they have Enhanced Psychological Practitioners and trainees on a regular basis. Newly qualifying or soon to qualify Psychologists are welcome to apply.

You will be:

  • expected to work under the supervision of the Consultant Psychologist delivering groups and prescribed interventions with training and supervision. Psychological interventions are a key part of the care delivered.
  • part of a grouping of more than 100 psychologists in Specialist Children’s Services and of around 350 psychologists in the Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board.

There are good links both to the West of Scotland Doctorate in Clinical Psychology Programme (University of Glasgow) and to the MSc in Applied Psychology for Children and Young People (University of Edinburgh).
