Do you have the skills to work in a busy inpatient rehabilitation setting? Would you like the opportunity to be a part of a supportive team with development opportunities? If so, please read on.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and highly specialist physiotherapist with a wide range of clinical experience to join our physiotherapy team within Queen Margaret Hospital Dunfermline.

You would be responsible for clinically leading the inpatient rehabilitation team while also providing cover to Whitefield Assessment and Rehabilitation Centre when required. The wards offer a diverse range of specialties including stroke, frailty, orthopaedics, vascular and long term complex conditions.

Do you have extensive specialist physiotherapy experience and skills in working with a range of conditions? Have you got significant experience of clinical leadership and workload coordination?  Then this is the post for you.

You will be proficient in standardised assessment and evidence informed interventions. You will have quality improvement skills including evidence of audit and service development and you will have demonstrated team leadership in previous jobs. A good track record of developing staff and students will be highly desirable and excellent team working is essential. You must be able to demonstrate a broad range of post graduate experience and sufficient knowledge and skills to manage a complex caseload.

You may be required to work across Fife, therefore the ability to travel is essential.

For informal enquiries, please contact Nicole Whyte, Integrated Teams Manager on 01383 623623 x22332.

A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Prior to appointment.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay.  This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.  This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Recruiting Board.
