The provision of a high standard catering service to patients, staff and other customers which meets all relevant legislative, nutritional, cultural and quality standards. The quality systems within the department provide assurance to the Division that the catering service is operated in a completely safe and hygienic manner and meets all statutory requirements. On a day-to-day level this involves supervision of food production staff and catering assistants and the production of safe, high quality meals for all patients, the staff dining room and any hospitality requirements.
