Band 7 Highly Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist
22.5 hours per week, permanent post
Aberdeen City Frailty Service – In-patient and Community
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Frailty teams within Aberdeen City. This post will involve in-patient and community working across the Frailty Pathway which includes Rosewell House and CAARS (Community adult assessment and rehabilitation services). Experience of working with the elderly patient client group at senior level, and managing junior staff is essential for this post.
Regular Supervision and training of students are integral parts of the job, as is service development and improvement. Opportunities for continued professional development and supervision are provided.
There is a requirement for weekend working / Public holiday working to meet the service needs.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the Aberdeen City area is essential for this post. The successful candidate must therefore own or have access to a car and hold a full UK driving licence.
Must be registered with HCPC
