An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health Care Support Worker within the Ward 208. Ward 208 is a busy surgical assessment ward & ambulatory clinic, where we manage emergency surgical referrals. The clinical area has high turnover due to the emergency assessment process, which requires candidates to be able to adapt change and work as a team member.

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, reliable, hardworking and motivated individual to join our team.

A caring, professional manner & excellent communication skills are essential. You must work well in high pressure environment and have the ability to changing situations.

Previous experience in the Acute/Clinic setting would be desirable. Candidate must be current with NHSG training and demonstrate ongoing development with clinical competencies. Surgical unit has practice educator team who support staff with further training with clinical skills.
