Administrator / Receptionist (37.5 hours)
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Practice Team. With nearly 17,000 patients we are two large and busy Practices and therefore you would be joining a friendly, supportive and dynamic team based in our modern, hi-tech general practice. Contracted hours are within our opening hours of 8am – 6pm (Mon-Fri – no evening or weekend working required) The successful applicant will have excellent written and verbal communication, along with good computer skills and whilst it would be desirable to have knowledge of GP based IT systems, such as EMIS/Vision and Docman, training will be provided. Excellent interpersonal and administrative skills are required, alongside ensuring the ability to provide attention to detail and observe strict confidentiality. Duties include care navigation with patients at reception and on the phone, making appointments, results handling, processing repeat prescription requests, scanning clinical correspondence and general administrative duties.
Previous experience in a medical environment is desirable, however full training will be given. We currently have a full time post available.
