We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated pharmacist to participate in a Primary Care Pharmacy training role and experience working within Primary Care Pharmacotherapy. The post will be based within GP practices in Moray. The aim is to improve the quality and cost effectiveness of evidence based prescribing and medicines use for patients. This post is suitable for a pharmacist with good medicines knowledge and keen to develop clinically. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Organisational and IT skills are also essential.
As part of the Moray Pharmacotherapy team you will work closely with GPs, practice staff, community pharmacists, care home staff, and members of the primary and acute healthcare team.
The post is temporary initially. You will become part of an integrated team in HSCP Moray Pharmacotherapy and will be well supported by senior pharmacists on a daily basis. They will be encouraged and supported to consider their post-registration foundation programme.
