The Diagnostic Admin Service have a vacancy for a part time Medical Receptionist to join the Radiology team based at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and Woodend Hospital to cover evening/weekend clinics. This exciting opportunity would be ideal for an experienced receptionist/administrator looking to expand on their knowledge or move into the medical administration sector.
The post
The post holder will work in the MRI department to provide administrative support to a team of Consultants and Radiographers.
This is a busy but rewarding post that involves a variety of tasks including manning a reception, administrative tasks, booking and confirming patient appointments.
The hours of work available are:
Mon to Fri: 4:30pm – 7:00pm
Sat and Sun: 9:00am – 7:00pm
Successful candidates will be required to work a minimum of 10 hours per week.

The Diagnostic Admin Service provides secretarial, admin, clerical and reception support to the Radiology Imaging departments and Endoscopy Service across the acute sector of NHS Grampian.
There are opportunities for expansion and progression within the Diagnostic Admin Service, including expanding your knowledge into various other medical, surgical, and clinical services, or over time, developing into supervisory, training, or management role.
