CLINICAL DEVELOPMENT FELLOW POST IN OBSTETRICS AND GYNAECOLOGY

Salary £40,995 to £64,461 per annum plus banding supplement
Based at the new Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary
Applications are invited for a clinical development fellow post in Obstetrics and Gynaecology available to start immediately until the 5th August 2025. This post is based at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary and is aimed at those doctors who have recently completed their foundation programme or core training.
This post will afford successful applicants the opportunity to gain experience in obstetrics, gynaecology, along with protected and mentored development time.
The successful candidate will be contracted for up to 48 hours per week: 40 hours per week on average including out-of hours commitment and undertaking elective clinical activities; 8 hours per week on average protected for developmental activities. The post holder will be paid at ST level based on their previous experience. A banding supplement relevant to the OOH component of their rotas will be paid in addition to the basic salary for 40 hours.
Your appointment will be subject to the Terms and Conditions of Service of Hospital Medical and Dental Staff and Doctors and Dentists in Public Health Medicine and the Community Health Service (Scotland).
