An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Staff Nurse at East Ayrshire Community Hospital.


What you will do:

In support of our core purpose of Working together to achieve the healthiest life possible for everyone in Ayrshire and Arran we are committed to a culture that is Caring, Safe and Respectful. The post holder is required to work collaboratively in a safe, caring and respectful way.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered General nurse to join our excellent team within East Ayrshire Community Hospital.  The post holder will have responsibility for the assessment and evaluation of care needs, ensuring the delivery of high quality patient care.  You will be a registered nurse with appropriate post registration experience Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential as is a flexible approach to working practice within a team environment.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

  • Post holder will be a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Substantial post registration experience relevant to the specialty
  • Working knowledge of General Hospitals Division policies and Procedures.
  • Ability to keep relevant skills / knowledge updated and documented.
  • Well developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be able to supervise and provide a mentorship role to students and junior staff.
  • A commitment to lifelong learning and demonstrates evidence of continuing professional development.
