To undertake the role of Highly Specialist Cardiac Physiologist within the echocardiography team in the Cardiac Physiology department covering both adult and paediatric echocardiography services.  

The post holder will be required to work autonomously as a senior staff member within the Cardiac Physiology department, performing echocardiograms.

The post holder will be required to supervise, train, guide and support junior staff in the performance of their individual roles and to give support to senior staff members.

This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
