Biomedical Support Worker
Band 3: £26,869-28,998
37 hours per week.
The postholder will work within the Department of Clinical Biochemistry as part of a team in our busy specimen reception area performing a range of tasks including; opening mail, bar coding request forms and samples, assisting in the preparation of samples for analysis - and other pre and post analytical tasks.
Requirement to participate in rota to provide Saturday morning support between the hours of 09:00 to 13:00, and one evening per week.
The successful applicant should be able to work under pressure and have good communication skills and possess a scientific or administrative qualification to SVQ level 3.
