North of Scotland Hospital Electronic Prescribing and Administration (HEPMA) Application Specialist

A very exciting opportunity has arisen within the NHS in the North of Scotland for an experienced IT application specialist to support the North of Scotland health boards in the delivery and operation of the region’s shared Pharmacy Stock Control (PSC) and Hospital Electronic Prescribing Medicines Administration system (HEPMA).

The North of Scotland region comprises of 6 NHS Boards - NHS Grampian, NHS Highland, NHS Orkney, NHS Shetland, NHS Tayside and NHS Western Isles.  These 6 boards are collaborating on this transformational change which will support safe and effective high quality clinical care for the population of the region.

We seek an enthusiastic and motivated individual that has the ability to engage and work in partnership through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


They will have a technical background with experience of operating at 2nd/3rd level support and be familiar with service delivery methodologies & processes.


They will be able to work well under pressure and have the ability to manage time effectively.
