Medical Receptionists (2 Posts)

Salary hourly rate £11.53 -- £12.61 depending on experience

Due to retirements we are looking for two friendly and reliable people to join our hardworking reception team. The successful candidates must possess excellent communication skills, be empathetic and enjoy working with the general public. Duties will include dealing with patients at reception and over the telephone, booking and cancelling appointments, signposting patients to appropriate services, issuing prescriptions, processing mail, and all other administrative duties.

You should have excellent attention to detail and you must maintain patient confidentiality at all times. You should be able to work on your own, under pressure and as part of a team.

Experience of working in a GP practice setting and the use of EMIS and Docman is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.

Post 1 (Commencing early/mid December 2024) - 30 hours per week. Working pattern – Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 0800-1600 each day.

Post 2 (Commencing mid January 2025) – 25.5 hours per week. Working pattern – Monday 0800-1230, Tuesday 0900-1800, Wednesday 1330 -1800 and Friday 0900 – 1800
