Aberdeenshire Satellite Dialysis Service
Band 6 – Senior Staff Nurse
Location: Banff
Hours – 0,83 WTE
Due to succession planning the satellite renal service are looking to recruit Band 6 Senior Staff Nurses to join our team.
The units are nurse led, with two Band 7s overseeing the service. The unit has eight haemodialysis stations.
The candidate should be highly motivated. Enthusiastic and innovated about kidney disease. A certain level of flexibility is required around their working hours to allow a service to run which does not always run to a timetable.
Requirements: Various experience as a haemodialysis nurse and an expert in this field. Experience in other areas would be advantageous.
BSc in Nursing, Renal Course, ILS, Management Course, Nurse Practitioner level or a willingness to upskill to this level within the first 2 years of being in post. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidates to development not only personally but the satellite service.
