Applications are invited for a Consultant Haematologist post for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (GG&C), based at the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre (BWoSCC) / Gartnavel Hospital (GGH).

We are looking for a motivated individual to join the team of 33 Haematology consultants in Greater Glasgow & Clyde.

This replacement consultant post will form part of a 7.5 WTE consultant team at Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre (BWoSCC) / Gartnavel General Hospital (GGH) to meet inpatient, outpatient, day case, consultative and laboratory commitments.  In particular, the post will provide specialist care in plasma cell disorders on the BWoSCC/GGH site.

The successful applicant will be based at BWoSCC/GGH in North Glasgow and will contribute to the Clinical and Laboratory Haematology Services.

On-call responsibility will be at the BWoSCC/GGH, 1 in 7.5.

You should be appropriately experienced and qualified in the specialty, fully registered with the GMC and have a licence to practice. Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or eligibility for specialist registration (CESR) or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from date of interview.  Non-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training.
