Mechanical Engineer Band 5

Hours: 37 hours per week
The Maintenance and Technical Services Department are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team.
The successful applicant will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of plant, equipment and infrastructure.
Applicants must have completed a recognised apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering and have gained relevant experience.
Applicants must possess a current full, driving licence.
This Band 5 role could potentially attract a salary of £44,450, dependent upon experience, qualifications and confirmation of references. This salary will include the current additional benefit of RRP at £4716 per annum.
The post holder will also be required to participate in an on call rota for which there are additional base payments plus overtime.
The post holder will be based in Banff and Buchan and will be required to undertake duties across North Grampian region.
