Ward 7C are now recruiting for Senior Healthcare Support Workers to join our team on either a fixed term or a permanent basis.  7C is a busy 34 bedded medical ward, and our team are focussed on providing high quality care to patients with either a Renal or GI condition.


The successful applicants will enjoy a challenge and be a team player, with enthusiasm and commitment to supporting their colleagues and delivering safe and effective care to their patients.


We cater for a diverse range of medical conditions which adds interest and ensures no two days are the same. There is a good team spirit, with everyone pulling together for the benefit of our patients and each other.


We are looking for people with an interest in either GI or Renal conditions who are passionate about caring for others and who are keen to develop skills they do not already possess.


These roles involve shift work including days and nights but we are happy to speak with interested candidates about the shift patterns, and would welcome informal enquiries about the opportunities available to:

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay.  This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.  This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours.  However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.  If you have any questions or concerns please contact the Recruiting Board.
