The shift pattern for this position is 0900-2130, 7 days per week. 

(Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.

Working across role and organisational boundaries, the Advanced Emergency Nurse Practitioner (AENP) will work within the Emergency Care Complex of Stobhill Hospital and the Glasgow Royal Infirmary. You will manage the complete clinical care for their patients utilising expert knowledge base and clinical competence to support multi-professional teams within NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde, ensuring a high standard of clinical care, in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and Health & Safety Legislation.

As a qualified AENP, the post holder is a clinical leader with the freedom and authority to act autonomously in the patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, including prescribing, of patients with multi-dimensional problems. This includes the authority to refer, admit and discharge withing clinical setting of minor injuries and / or the Emergency Departments of GG&C. The AENP is equipped to manage patients who present to unscheduled care. The AENP can examine, diagnose, treat, refer and discharge appropriately and safely within the operational structures of the department.
