Aberdeenshire South Vaccination Service, Immunisation Nurse
37 hours per week: Banchory Vaccination Centre

The Vaccination Service within South Aberdeenshire is seeking to recruit an experienced Staff Nurse or Allied Health Practitioner to work at Banchory Vaccination Centre. You will be responsible for delivering immunisations to all ages in a variety of venues such as vaccination centres, care homes, schools, pop-up clinics and pre-school clinics. The base will be in the Banchory Vaccination Centre but you will be required to travel to surrounding areas and help our other vaccination centres when needed. You will also be required to assist the Community Treatment and Care (CTAC) Team or other services in line with your professional registration. Candidates will be required to be NMC registered or have a professional registration with a governing body as per PGDs.
The post holder should be motivated and self-driven with a commitment to developing and delivering a high standard of care. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal will be required. A working knowledge of GPIT systems, SIRS, The Greenbook, PGDs pertaining to the UK routine immunisation schedule as well as COVID vaccinations. The post holder will have a key role in supporting the HCSW immunisation programme. The post holder will be required to undertake the PEIP course.
We want to hear from candidates who have a caring nature, are adaptable and forward thinking. Must hold a full UK driving license and have access to a vehicle.
