Practice Nurse Leith Surgery, Edinburgh
Leith Surgery is a general medical practice based at the Foot of the Walk, Edinburgh. Our primary care team puts good clinical care at the heart of our work, and we are a medical teaching and training practice. We have a current list size of 12450 patients currently split between 6 partners. Our nursing team consists of an advanced nurse practitioner, a full time PN, a part time PN and a Phlebotomist/HCA.
Leith surgery has an exciting opportunity for a caring, enthusiastic, and highly motivated experienced Practice Nurse to join our friendly team. The successful candidate will have the ability to use initiative as well as being able to work under pressure. Applicants must be NMC registered and have experience in Chronic Disease Management including Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, and cervical screening. The successful candidate will ideally have a keen interest in helping to develop our chronic disease management.
On going training and development is encouraged and supported.
The preferred post is full time, 37 hours per week, however, we would consider reduced hours, with days and hours to be negotiated.
Payscale is dependent on experience.
