A new opportunity has arisen for an individual to join our Community Treatment and Care service which operates community run clinics across Angus. You will require to be registered on Sub part 1: RN 1 of the UK NMC register


The post holder will assist and support the Community Clinic Team Leader to lead the Community Care and Treatment Service team in providing safe and effective care in the running of a variety of clinics including management of wounds, phlebotomy, chronic disease monitoring, and ear care.


The successful applicant will have extensive experience of working within a clinic setting and have specialist clinical knowledge of best practice in particular relation to wound care. You will be an excellent example to your colleagues in the delivery of compassionate and holistic person centred care. As a Charge Nurse, you will exhibit strong leadership and management skills, will influence and develop practice and will take forward new initiatives within a community based team.


The service is based within Angus, which operates clinics in Hubs in Arbroath, Montrose and Forfar, with in-reach services based within GP practices.  You will be allocated a base but be expected to travel across the locality where required.


Applicants must have a positive attitude to change and endeavour to deliver high standards of patient care. You should have evidence of continuing development pertinent to the role although we are committed to delivering and supporting ongoing training and development.
