Job Purpose
The post holder will be required to work as part of a flexible maintenance team responsible, through the line Management Structure of Estates Officer (Operations) to Sector Estates Manager to ensure the smooth running of the estates department and its workforce is managed in the most effective way and that all repairs and statutory and mandatory planned maintenance is carried out in the most efficient way and that all regulations and health and safety requirements have been carried out.
Assisting managerial and Sterilizer Authorised Person Services as HTM2010 & HTM2030.
Assisting the arrangements & carrying out the planned maintenance, testing, Statutory inspections & repairing Sterilizers & Ultrasonic baths to HTM standards, Give technical support & training to operators & users.
Preparing and updating logbooks for the sterilizer washer disinfectors.
As well as your starting salary there is a recruitment and retention premium of £4,517 (pro rata) per annum which has been awarded to craftsman posts. This is a temporary agreement and will be reviewed again at the end of March 2025.
