Deputy Head of Domestic & Support Services Manager
Hours 37 hours per week
Band 8a
We are currently seeking to engage an enthusiastic individual with proven track record and experience of staff management, excellent organisational, communication and change management skills. Previous experience in domestic services and/or healthcare is essential.
Your initiative, insight and vision and the capacity to translate them into operational systems will be key when working in a challenging and changing environment which spans across a wide geographical area.
You will have a base in Aberdeen and will travel to NHSG community sites in Moray, Aberdeen North, City and South, Aberdeenshire, as service needs require, so a confident driver is essential.
As one of the four senior managers within Domestic & Support Services, reporting to the Head of Domestic & Support Services and be a strong link from strategic vision to operational implementation. Working with autonomy in a highly political and complex environment. You must have the ability to provide accurate reporting trends and key areas for improvement with a solution focused attitude. There is also a requirement that the successful applicant will participate on call for the wider Facilities & Estates sector on a rotational basis.
Familiarity with compliance, current relatable legislation and business developments which may impact the service and how to translate these to practice is essential.
