The shift pattern for this position is Mon, Tue,Thur, Fri - 9am-5pm, Wed – 9am-4:30pm.
An exciting Health Care Support Worker opportunity has arisen within Glasgow City Health & Social Care Partnership Complex Needs Service. This is a new and developing model and service, the Complex Needs Service is a forward thinking and dynamic service, working with people who have experienced multiple complex health and social care issues and who are not able to engage with mainstream services. The service operates an assertive outreach approach and covers Glasgow citywide with the base office at Commonwealth house. The post holder will, with appropriate training, undertake a range of clinical and administrative tasks in order to engage with individuals supported by the Complex Needs Service. The post holder will promote a culture of engagement with patients, families and carers and utilise an approach which is kind, courteous, empathetic and respectful. NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
