An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Personal Assistant to Director/s to join the Scottish Ambulance Service.

You will join an established and experienced administration team. You will bring a positive outlook and provide a dedicated, professional and comprehensive PA and administration service to the Executive Director/s and senior managers as required.

You will be responsible for the end to end secretariat process of complex meetings including, drafting agendas and supporting documentation, taking and producing minutes and monitoring follow up actions. You will also manage correspondence, handle enquiries, coordinate leave requests, and assist the Executive Director/s on a daily basis. You will work closely with both the Board Secretary and Governance Officer to assist in the production of Board and Governance Committee papers. Significant experience within the NHS or similar complex organisation is desirable.

You will have excellent communication skills and have the ability to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team. Discretion and confidentiality are essential in this role, as is outstanding organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your workload to ensure that deadlines are met. You will have considerable experience of working to a senior Executive and managing multiple complex diaries.
