Position:
An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Customer Service Assistant based at Ayrshire Central Hospital.
What you will do:
The Supplies & Distribution Team within theProcurement Department provide a Procurement service to all NHS
Ayrshire and Arran wards/departments/clinics ensuring that stock products are ordered and delivered according to local delivery
schedules.
You will provide an effective local customer and supplies service for stock products to allocated wards, receiving all goods and determining stock levels with ward managers. Customer service is a large part of this role, ensuring all customers have supplies in the right quantity, quality, place and time, to support clinical services and to resolve complaints timeously.
