NORTH OF SCOTLAND TRAUMA NETWORK REHABILITATION CLINICAL LEAD
THIS ADVERT IS FOR A SINGLE POST AND IS REPLICATED ON SHOW UNDER ALL NORTH OF SCOTLAND HEALTH BOARDS POST
Hours: 0.1 WTE or 1 PA per week secondment for 2 years in the first instance
Essential criteria: Applicant must be a healthcare professional registered with a relevant professional body, with extensive skills and experience in the provision of rehabilitation for patients who have experienced major trauma.
Salary: Equivalent to current salary
Location: At the post holder’s work place
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to provide clinical leadership for the rehabilitation component for the North of Scotland Trauma Network. They will play a pivotal role in continuing to develop and shape rehabilitation pathways across the north and be responsible for providing clinical leadership and guidance to ensure that that all those involved in providing rehabilitation for patients who have experienced major trauma work together to deliver high quality care as part of a rehabilitation pathway within the trauma network.
The post holder will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders locally, regionally and nationally focussing on improvement of rehabilitation care. They must have proven experience in supporting and delivering strategic change/transformation of services; ability to think creatively; have demonstrable credibility and proven evidence of the ability to engage meaningfully with clinical and non clinical colleagues to support service delivery and lead transformational change.
The North of Scotland Trauma Network covers five different health boards; NHS Grampian, NHS Highland, NHS Orkney, NHS Shetland and NHS Western Isles. Applications are welcomed from any of these five boards.
