The shift pattern for this position is Monday to Sunday.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team within The Renal Assessment Unit as a Health Care Support Worker. The Renal Assessment Area are situated in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and care for patients with renal disease and kidney transplants who need to be brought into hospital for assessment and review. The Team also provides haemodialysis for both inpatients and outpatients. Renal Services in Glasgow are spread across 6 sites- it may be necessary at times to help support staffing in other parts of the renal service. You will be able to competently perform the necessary technical/invasive/physical aspects of care for the defined patient group. Ensure effective delivery of nursing care is provided to patients and that an acceptable standard is maintained. These will be reportable to SCN/Deputy Charge Nurse.
