UIST AND BARRA

HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT

Band 2 £24,647 - £26,763 pro rata

Plus £1,349 Distant Islands Allowance pro rata

We seek to recruit a Healthcare Assistant to work within the nursing teams in the Uist & Barra Hospital, a community hospital on the Isle of Benbecula.

Applicants should be committed to providing a high standard of care and interact well within a multi-disciplinary team. However, training can be given for the advanced skills required within this role.

The successful candidates will need to achieve the Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers and comply with the Code of Conduct within three months of full time employment or up to six months for part time workers. For further information see www.hcswtoolkit.nes.scot.nhs.uk.
