An exciting opportunity exists for a highly skilled individual to join our senior nursing team within the Surgical Division.
This role combines the management and co-ordination of care teams delivering services to patients across a variety of clinical specialties. You will provide strong leadership and operational management to the nursing teams whilst supporting multi -disciplinary service delivery.
This is a busy and demanding yet rewarding role, offering opportunities to work collaboratively with surgical colleagues from a diverse range of specialties. The successful post holder will join a team responsible for the operational management and strategic development of emergency, trauma, elective and day case surgery.
This is an exciting time to join our team with a number of major service developments underway. In addition to the existing 27 operating theatres across Ninewells Hospital site and Perth Royal Infirmary site, the new Children’s Theatre Suite and Robotic Assisted Surgery suite provide a range of new service opportunities alongside Critical Care across NHS Tayside and the East of Scotland Major Trauma Service.
Interested individuals should have at extensive experience in a nursing leadership role.
You should have a robust understanding of quality improvement and service development and a proven track record of managing people and evidence of improving care for patients.
A Masters qualification or evidence of study at this level is required
