This is a part-time, permanent post of 23.68 hours per week, with a shift pattern of Monday to Friday.

Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours. 

You will have active UK NMC registration at band 5 or above.

THE RESPIRATORY NURSE SPECIALIST TEAM FOR CLYDE HAVE A SELDOM AVAILABLE VACANCY - BAND 6 CNS. WE ARE A SMALL TEAM DELIVERING SPECIALIST RESPIRATORY CARE ACROSS RENFREWSHIRE, INVERCLYDE & DUNBARTONSHIRE WITH HOSPITAL BASES AT THE RAH AND IRH. THE POST COVERS REVIEW OF PATIENTS WITH ASTHMA, COPD, INTERSITIAL LUNG DISEASE AND BRONCHIECTASIS, FROM DIAGNOSIS THROUGH TO END OF LIFE CARE. WE ALSO PROVIDE OXYGEN ASSESSMENTS, FLIGHT TESTS, NEBULISED ANTIBIOTICS AND INJECTABLE BIOLOGICS. YOU SHOULD HAVE 5 YEARS RELATABLE POST REG EXPERIENCE, WITH AN INTEREST IN RESPIRATORY MEDICINE. YOU WILL BE A FLEXIBLE TEAM PLAYER, CAPABLE OF LONE WORKING WITH A KIND, CARING, PROBLEM SOLVING ATTITUDE. YOU WILL PROVIDE IN PATIENT, OUTPATIENT AND HOME CARE, MON-FRI 8-4 WITH AN ELEMENT OF AGILE WORKING. IN RETURN YOU WILL JOIN A FRIENDLY, SUPPORTIVE TEAM OF EXPERIENCED NURSES. FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE THERE WILL BE ACCESS TO ONGOING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION IN THE FIELD OF RESPIRATORY MEDICINE.
