Applications are invited to apply for a full-time Consultant Cardiologist, with an interest in implantable cardiac devices.

The successful candidate will be expected to provide a full range of consultant cardiology in-patient services, based at Glasgow Royal Infirmary to include a weekend and on-call working pattern, as agreed with colleagues and management. Out-patient activity will be undertaken at Glasgow Royal Infirmary and/or Stobhill Ambulatory Care Hospital. Sub specialist interests are dependent on service requirements and can be discussed with applicants with agreement following appointment.

This is an exciting time to join the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde North Sector Cardiology Service. The post will offer a real opportunity for the successful candidate to be involved in the provision of a successful modern consultant led service and to develop high quality, novel services for the population of North Glasgow NHSGGC.

Glasgow Royal Infirmary and Stobhill Hospital are close to the centre of the city, with excellent transport links and easy access to the countryside. It is a principal teaching hospital for the University of Glasgow.
