An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Perioperative Disposal Healthcare Support

Worker to join our dynamic team in the Main Theatre Suite at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

Main Theatres is a busy environment, hosting 17 Operating Theatres with a mix of both elective and emergency surgery.

This post will have various duties including assisting with the preparation and packing of used surgical instrumentation ready for transportation to our Central Decontamination Unit for processing, as well as ensuring Theatre disposal areas are clean and well stocked.
We are looking for a motivated & enthusiastic individual who is capable of working in a team but can also work independently without supervision.

The successful candidate must be able to meet the demands of the service and have the ability to work under pressure in a busy environment. Previous experience in a similar environment is desirable.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
