The O.H. Physiotherapy Service is an Occupational Health Physiotherapy Service providing for NHS Lothian Health Board. The Service provides advice, assessment, treatment and workplace occupational support for the staff and management of NHS Lothian (approximately 28,000 people). The post holder would be based initially at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh however, this is a Lothian wide service.
We require a highly experienced individual with proven musculoskeletal physiotherapy skills. As part of a team, you will be responsible for providing assessment, treatment and functional rehabilitation programmes including worksite assessment where appropriate for staff working for NHS Lothian. You will have professional support but will be expected to be able to work independently. You will be responsible for professional support and development of more junior staff and students. You will be actively involved in audit and the development of evidence based practice. Experience of working in occupational health preferred though training and support will be provided in the speciality for the right person as needed.
