Royal Alexandra Hospital – Older People and Stroke Wards are looking for three Band 2 Health Care Support Worker's to join our team. The shift pattern is 11.5 hour shifts worked Monday to Sunday on a day and night shift rotation.

The Healthcare Support Worker carries out direct patient care in support of and supervised by a Registered Nurse. Applicants must have a caring disposition and the ability to work with others as part of a multidisciplinary team. Good verbal and written communication skills and literacy and numeracy skills are essential.

Applicants must have the ability to fulfil the requirements of the Band 2 job description including undertaking practice development programmes.

We require enthusiastic individuals with a can-do attitude that has the ability to work within our friendly ward teams. You should be motivated, keen to learn and ready to embrace change. If you are motivated to deliver high standards of care and have the personal qualities and characteristics as outlined above, then this could be the post for you.
