Grampian Stroke MCN Primary Care Lead

NHS Grampian is seeking to appoint a Primary Care Lead who can be from the AHP, Nursing or Medical professions, to join the Grampian Stroke Managed Clinical Network (MCN). The hours of work are to be negotiated with the successful applicant but is likely to be in the region of 3 – 6 hours per week for a fixed term period of 12 months.
Applicants from Medical, Nursing and the AHP professions are welcomed and should have knowledge and experience in the provision and development of Stroke services. Applicants should also have good knowledge and experience of Primary Care services in Grampian. Working closely with the Stroke MCN Clinical Lead and being a key part of the Stroke core team you will support implementation of evidence based practice; play a key role in the monitoring of clinical standards; promote the development of Stroke care pathways that support equitable access to services across Grampian, raise issues with regards to Stroke pathway from colleagues in primary care and contribute to the Strategic planning of services.
Applicants will be motivating, engaging and demonstrate commitment to the role of the Stroke MCN in delivering improvements in care across Grampian. The ability to work across the organisation and with partners is essential to manage change within a complex environment.
