Applications are invited for 4x Clinical Fellows (ST1+ level) in Emergency Medicine in Ninewells Hospital and Perth Royal Infirmary. These posts will provide our core ED staffing on a rota working alongside ACCS and GP trainees, delivering our current model of Emergency Medicine across Tayside.
The successful applicants will join an enthusiastic and innovative team to further enhance the provision of Emergency Medicine at Ninewells Hospital and Perth Royal Infirmary. NHS Tayside has developed an Unscheduled Care system that proactively manages unscheduled ED attendance thereby minimising surges in demand and maintaining good patient flow, supporting achievement of the national 4 hour standard.
Consultant supervision and support will be given so the successful applicants can develop their clinical and non-technical skills, and gain experience in managing the full spectrum of Emergency Medicine presentations. Working at ST1+ level equivalence over time is anticipated.
This rota is a full shift pattern and includes weekend and out of hours working across both sites.
We are looking to recruit 4x full-time colleagues. We plan for this post to commence Wesdnesday 6th August 2025. A full induction will be provided.
