The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Chef to join our team at University Hospital Wishaw.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team in all aspects of preparation, cooking of food service, wash up and cleaning duties related to the provision of a high quality catering service to Patient, Staff, Visitors and Functions for NHS Lanarkshire.

What we'll need you to bring
Training and or qualifications required:
- Induction and Orientation department training.
- 706/1 City and Guilds or Catering Industry equivalent.
- 706/2 City and Guilds or Catering Industry equivalent.
- Intermediate Food Hygiene.
- Standard Nutrition and Dietetics Fire training.
- Manual Handling.
- COSHH
- Basic IT Skills
- Previous experience in a busy Kitchen environment.
- Health and safety and Food hygiene safety on the job training.
Please note for all vacancies where a driving licence is required this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.

Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.
Location and Working Pattern
This role will be based in Catering department within University Hospital Wishaw.
The working pattern for this role: Day shift 06.30/2.00pm & Backshift covers 10.30 /19.30
