We have a permanent Band 5 Dietitian vacancy within the NHS Lothian Weight Management and Type 2 Diabetes Prevention Service. This post complements the current Adult Weight Management team, part of the exciting, large multidisciplinary Lothian Weight Management Service. The post holder will have responsibility for provision of weight management support in our adult service. This is a great opportunity for dietitians with a keen interest in weight management and diabetes prevention to become valued members of the wider multidisciplinary team. Please note this is a rotational post within the wider community dietetics team.

We are strongly committed to training and support for CPD and clinical governance, with a supervision framework, annual appraisals, peer support and training opportunities to further develop clinical skills.

We would welcome applications from either newly qualified dietitians (must be HCPC Registered by 30th June 2025) who are keen to get their career started, or from dietitians who already have some professional experience but would like to further progress their career as part of our skilled and dedicated team.
